Penghu: A Wonderland

Penghu is the name of a group of island in Taiwan Strait. Although Penghu’s islands have a famous for being flat, dry, windy, they are actually fill with exciting things to see and do.

Many visitors go there to enjoy seafood and they want to eat fresh fish straight from the sea. Another of specialties is peanut candy, and most tourists purchase plenty of it before they return home. They also take back fried fish and squid as gifts for family members or friends. Many temples of Penghu are old, but most are still in good condition. For some visitors, dolphin watching and glass-bottomed boat rides are available.

Without a doubt, Penghu is more than just a group of islands. With delicious seafood, traditional temples and outdoor activities, it offers some fun for many people.
